Who writes PickedHouse
Pages are written and maintained by PickedHouse Editors, the PickedHouse editorial desk. PickedHouse Editors research home and kitchen appliances from manufacturer spec sheets, manuals and aggregated owner reviews. We do not publish invented test scores or star ratings.
What we do, and what we don’t
- We do read product pages, manuals and spec sheets, note where a maker’s own documents disagree, and weigh patterns in aggregated owner reviews.
- We don’t run hands-on lab tests, publish invented scores or star ratings, or list prices that will be stale tomorrow.
- We don’t accept payment for placement or positive coverage.
