Our verdict
On paper, the X50 Ultra is one of the most capable all-in-one robots for homes with raised thresholds and mixed floors: it climbs two-step thresholds up to 60 mm, has mops that can extend toward edges or detach, and empties into a 3.2 L bag rated for up to 100 days. Its compromises are a taller body than some rivals (89 mm), a 176°F mop wash where Roborock’s Saros 20 lists 212°F, and 2.4 GHz-only Wi-Fi.

The closest rival is the Roborock Saros 20: more suction (36,000 Pa), a slimmer 3.14 in body and a hotter 212°F wash, but a bigger dock and a shorter auto-empty interval. See our full Roborock vs Dreame comparison.
